The 10th Chinese Gastric Cancer Congress (CGCC) and the 3rd Sunlight Great Wall Cancer Academic Conference, hosted by Chinese Anti-Cancer Association and Beijing Cancer Hospital, was held in Beijing International Conference Center on June 27-28th, 2015. The congress has continued the theme of “Standardization, Fusion, Innovation”, aimed to facilitate Chinese standardization of diagnosis and treatment in gastric cancer, multidisciplinary collaboration and development of translational medicine, and also prepare for the International Gastric Cancer Congress which would be held in Beijing in 2017. This book is composed of nice sections and authors from 15 countries. Each country has different situation in gastric cancer, so we can learn what’s going on in this field around the world. And also we have a special section for surgical video, from which we can learn how to treat gastric cancer. I strongly recommend having this book for more studying and learning.

The editors also hope Gastric Cancer on which has expended international gastrointestinal scholars’ energies will enlighten the surgeons in this field, make the basic research in gastrointestinal practically applied to clinic and let the patients really benefit from the basic research.
